Step 1 - Background Design Practice in Bryce

The e-learning product I am creating is a website for the Mechanical Engineering 172 class at BYU. The class teaches engineering graphics and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and the professor wants to have a site available for current students, prior students, and prospective students to browse and get a feel for what the class is all about, look at sample projects and assignments, access TA help, download free software relevant to the course, etc.

Most of the graphic design for the course will be done in Bryce, with some work in Flash and other programs. Step 1 involved learning how to create backgrounds from 3D environments within Bryce. Here are just a few samples of some of the backgrounds I have been playing around with for the site.
